(NLDO) - Deputy Minister of Transport Nguyen Duy Lam has just been assigned by the Politburo to hold the position of Secretary of the Ha Tinh Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term.
On the afternoon of March 1, in Ha Tinh City, Ha Tinh Province, the Ha Tinh Provincial Party Committee held a conference to implement the Politburo's Decision on personnel work.
The conference announced the Politburo's Decision to transfer and appoint Mr. Nguyen Duy Lam, Deputy Minister of Transport (now the Ministry of Construction), to join the Executive Committee, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, to hold the position of Secretary of the Ha Tinh Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term and to be appointed to join the Party Committee of Military Region 4 for the 2020-2025 term.
At the ceremony, Head of the Central Organizing Committee Le Minh Hung presented the appointment decision to the new Secretary of the Ha Tinh Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Duy Lam.

Mr. Nguyen Duy Lam replaces the position of former Ha Tinh Provincial Party Secretary Hoang Trung Dung, who has just been assigned by the Politburo to be Editor-in-Chief of Communist Magazine.
According to VNA, in his acceptance speech, Mr. Nguyen Duy Lam thanked the Politburo for entrusting him with the important responsibility, and pledged to always make every effort, be dedicated, and uphold the pioneering spirit; promote the role of the nucleus of solidarity with the Standing Committee, the Executive Committee and the people of Ha Tinh province, determined to successfully implement the goals and targets set by the Resolution of the 19th Provincial Party Congress, contributing to the whole country's successful implementation of the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress; and at the same time, prepare well and successfully organize the Party Congresses at all levels for the 2025-2030 term.
Mr. Nguyen Duy Lam was born in 1972, from Dong Tien commune, Dong Hy district, Thai Nguyen province; Master of Engineering, Bridge - Tunnel Construction Engineer.
Before becoming Secretary of the Ha Tinh Provincial Party Committee, he held the positions of Deputy Director, then Director of the Planning and Investment Department, Director of the Road Construction Management Department (Vietnam Road Administration), and Director of the Construction Management and Quality of Traffic Works.
In August 2021, he was appointed Deputy Minister of Transport.
