During this time, Tram Chim National Park seems to be wearing a brilliant yellow cloak of yellow flowers. Throughout the A4 and A5 areas, flower fields stretch for dozens of hectares, creating a shimmering, golden carpet of flowers, making anyone who sets foot here surprised and captivated.
According to Mr. Doan Van Nhanh - Deputy Director of the Center for Conservation and International Cooperation (under Tram Chim National Park), this year, the carpet of yellow-headed an flowers appeared especially brilliant, with more than 10 hectares in area A5 and over 5 hectares in area A4. The name "yellow-headed an" comes from the yellow color of the flowers, with a unique shape. When blooming, the flowers bloom into many small, pretty buds, like small seals attached to the stem from 10 - 20cm long. In the morning sunlight, the flower is like a small crown, sparkling on the tip of the slender stem.

However, with diligence, hard work and love for their homeland, the farmers here have gradually improved the acid sulfate soil, turning them into lush green rice fields, full of grain.

Today, Tram Chim National Park is the only place in Tam Nong district that still preserves the wild beauty of the Indian orchid. With an area of over 7,313 hectares, 40km from Cao Lanh City and more than 100km from Ho Chi Minh City, Tram Chim is the 2,000th Ramsar Site in the world and the 4th in Vietnam. This place is not only the kingdom of the red-crowned crane, but also home to many rare species of animals and plants, with a diverse ecosystem including: Melaleuca forests, seasonal flooded fields, reed grasslands, reeds, wild rice fields, water sedge and swamp ecosystems.
