On December 7, according to records on National Highway 1 from the South of Ben Thuy Bridge - North of Ha Tinh City bypass (section belonging to Thach Kenh Commune, Thach Ha District), the investor, Cienco 4 Group Joint Stock Company, is mobilizing machinery and human resources to repair the surface of Lau Cau Bridge.
At the site, the construction unit scraped off the degraded and damaged bridge surface, then treated the dust and resurfaced it with a new layer of asphalt concrete. Because Highway 1 has a large volume of traffic, during the bridge repair process, the construction unit also placed signs and markers to ensure the safety of people and vehicles.
According to the investor, this time the unit focuses on repairing 10 bridges in Nghe An and Ha Tinh provinces. In Ha Tinh, there are 7 bridges including: Ben Thuy 2, Treo Vot, Trai Trau, Hoi Sau, Nghen, Lau Cau and Sim bridge.
The repair items include damage to the bridge deck and expansion joints. This repair project has a total cost of nearly 12 billion VND and strives to complete the repair before December 31, 2024.
