With the goal of eliminating more than 2,300 temporary houses by 2025, the entire political system in Ha Tinh is working together with the people to build and repair houses. Many synchronous solutions have been deployed to realize this important goal to help people settle down and find jobs.

In recent days, especially in response to “Youth Month”, Ha Tinh youth have been present everywhere, coordinating with all levels, sectors and people to join hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in the area. In the mountainous district of Huong Son, together with all levels and sectors, youth have been promoting their pioneering and volunteering role, mobilizing resources to contribute to the program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses.
Mr. Nguyen Van Linh - Secretary of Huong Son District Youth Union informed: "Determining that eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses is one of the major policies of the Party and State that is being focused on and implemented vigorously by all levels and sectors, the District Youth Union has established 3 volunteer teams with 110 members, and each commune has also established volunteer teams to be ready to support when necessary. Up to now, we have joined hands to dismantle old houses, move furniture, and support labor days to build new houses for 11 households".
The image of green volunteer shirts joining hands to bring warm homes to families in difficult circumstances in the area has left many beautiful impressions. Not only contributing young people to build solid houses but also building relationships, sharing and love. It is a symbol of the pioneering spirit, enthusiasm and kindness of Ha Tinh youth.
Responding to the emulation movement "Join hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses nationwide in 2025", right from the beginning of the year, Ha Tinh Provincial Youth Union has developed an implementation plan, responding to the movement among youth and children in the whole province. Accordingly, online conferences are organized to districts, towns, city unions, and grassroots unions to disseminate and implement related contents. At the same time, exchange and discuss specific contents and tasks to raise difficulties and obstacles, propose some good practices, and directions for the coming time.
With active participation, up to now, the Youth Union and Youth Union chapters at all levels in the province have established more than 100 volunteer teams with more than 1,000 youth union members, actively supporting working days to help people when moving assets, dismantling, and transporting construction materials for households in difficult circumstances. The Youth Union has supported the dismantling and construction of more than 40 houses; gifts have been given to people and children in difficult circumstances, who are eligible for support to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in 2025 in the whole province, with an amount of more than 300 million VND.
Mr. Nguyen Hoai Nam - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union, Chairman of the Youth Union of Ha Tinh province shared: Supporting the elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses is a particularly important political task, with profound humanitarian significance, and is one of the provincial youth projects to welcome the Party Congresses at all levels for the 2025 - 2030 term. Therefore, Ha Tinh youth determined that it is necessary to focus on implementation with high determination, great efforts, drastic actions, with focus and key points to clarify the role of youth, of the Youth Union and Association.
According to Mr. Nguyen Hoai Nam, through this volunteer action program, Ha Tinh youth have contributed part of their strength, time and enthusiasm to bring new, more spacious and solid houses to families. This is also a way for the young generation to show their responsibility to the community, promote the spirit of "mutual love" and build an increasingly developed and strong society.

Ms. Ha Thi Viet Anh - Vice President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ha Tinh province said: Determining the implementation of the emulation movement "Joining hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in Ha Tinh province in 2025" is one of the key tasks and top priorities of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees at all levels in the province in the new term and in 2025.
Therefore, the Standing Committee of the Fatherland Front Committee of Ha Tinh province has thoroughly grasped, organized propaganda and dissemination in the system of Fatherland Fronts at all levels and member organizations about the emulation movement "Joining hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in Ha Tinh province in 2025". In which, thoroughly grasp the purpose, requirements, emulation content, emulation criteria and forms of rewards, solutions for implementation, and at the same time concretize them into action plans and programs of their level to organize and implement the emulation movement widely and effectively.
In addition, the Vietnam Fatherland Front at all levels and its member organizations coordinate with relevant units to actively call on and mobilize businesses, organizations, and economic groups to actively participate in contributing and supporting the elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses in order to maximize the ability to mobilize social resources from the community to support households with meritorious services to the revolution, poor households, near-poor households, and disadvantaged households to build new and repair houses. Organize activities, events, and programs for the poor, Tet for the poor, etc. to call for and mobilize support for the "For the Poor" Fund to implement the program. Mobilize union members and members to contribute working days and join hands with people to build and repair houses.
The policy of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses in Ha Tinh province in 2025 requires the province to eliminate more than 2,300 temporary and dilapidated houses. Of these, 1,374 temporary and dilapidated houses for poor and near-poor households will be eliminated, while the remaining houses are for policy households and meritorious people. By the end of February 2025, the province had started construction of 193/2,343 houses. The provincial "For the Poor" Fund received 37.6 billion VND, and the district level received 0.77 billion VND.
