The conference approved the draft report summarizing 5 years of Party building work for the 2020-2025 term and the draft report summarizing 15 years of implementing the Party Charter (2011-2025).
The Soc Trang Provincial Party Committee has 15 subordinate Party Committees. To date, the province has 644 grassroots Party organizations, an increase of 89 grassroots Party organizations compared to 2010. Currently, the entire Soc Trang Provincial Party Committee has 48,872 Party members, an increase of 79.66% compared to 2011.
The party membership structure has changed positively, with the proportion of female party members increasing by more than 10%; the proportion of ethnic minority party members increasing by 4.12%; and the proportion of religious party members increasing by 2.37%. The quality of party members has improved; the proportion of party members receiving professional training reached 72.13%, an increase of 17.30%.
On the basis of thoroughly understanding the regulations and instructions of the Central Committee, Party committees at all levels in Soc Trang province have strengthened inspection and supervision of the implementation of the Party Charter.

From 2011 to present, Party committees at all levels have inspected 9,334 organizations and 6,720 party members; inspected 3 organizations and 88 party members for signs of violations; supervised 4,971 organizations and 5,482 party members; and resolved 27 disciplinary complaints against party members.
Inspection Committees at all levels have inspected 643 party organizations and 1,256 party members when there were signs of violations; supervised 2,689 party organizations and 2,187 party members; inspected the implementation of inspection and supervision tasks of 3,628 organizations; inspected the implementation of Party discipline in 608 organizations; resolved denunciations of 7 organizations and 438 party members; resolved 36 party discipline complaints; inspected party finances of 564 organizations; inspected the collection, payment, management and use of party fees of 5,153 organizations...
Delegates agreed with the draft reports and actively discussed and proposed many solutions to improve the quality of Party building work and implementation of the Party Charter.
Speaking at the conference, Secretary of the Soc Trang Provincial Party Committee Lam Van Man requested that Party committees at all levels continue to pay attention to leading and directing Party building work; actively and strongly protect the Party's ideological foundation, political platform and guidelines; proactively prevent and resolutely fight and effectively stop all plots, tricks and sabotage actions of hostile forces.
Continue to promote Party building and rectification and the political system; resolutely prevent, repel, and strictly handle cadres and Party members who have degraded in political ideology, ethics, and lifestyle, and manifested "self-evolution" and "self-transformation" in association with studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, ethics, and lifestyle.
Focus on leadership to best prepare personnel work for Party congresses at all levels for the 2025-2030 term, ensuring comprehensiveness, synchronization, connectivity, democracy, impartiality, objectivity, and transparency. Focus on rotating, young, female, and ethnic minority cadres.
Well implement the arrangement and consolidation of the organizational apparatus, streamline the payroll; improve the leadership capacity, fighting strength of grassroots party organizations and the quality of party members.
Promote the role of mass mobilization work, the Vietnam Fatherland Front and its member organizations in activities participating in Party building and government building.
Thoroughly implement the Party's new regulations on inspection, supervision and Party discipline. Strengthen inspection and supervision on preventing and combating corruption, negativity and waste.
Pay attention to planning, regularly inspect and supervise the implementation of the Party Charter. Build a team of cadres with enthusiasm, aspiration and the spirit of daring to think, daring to do, daring to take responsibility for the common good, saying what you do.
