As part of a series of activities to celebrate the 77th anniversary of the People's Public Security Force (PPP) studying and implementing Uncle Ho's Six Teachings (March 11, 1948 - March 11, 2025), and the 80th anniversary of the PPP's Traditional Day (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025), the Ministry of Public Security organized a special music gala program called "Glory of the People's Public Security of Vietnam" in the Hoan Kiem Lake area, Hanoi.
Before the main event, there was a demonstration by the police forces, including the Mobile Police, the Guard Police, and the Center for Training and Use of Service Animals. Pictured is the demonstration by the Mounted Police.
On the afternoon of March 9, the Qigong performance by the Mobile Police Force attracted the attention of thousands of spectators at Hoan Kiem Lake and Ly Thai To Park. Among them, the act of breaking a 100kg rock placed on a soldier's body caused the most tension and suspense. This solid rock took the soldiers dozens of attempts to break it in half.
Finally, the "stubborn" rock was carried out after being partially broken.
The soldier lying under the rock was the one who suffered the most pressure. He turned his back and stomach for the audience to see that he had no injuries.
Another new and impressive performance involved using a 9-seat car weighing about 1.8 tons to move past 24 soldiers lying under wooden planks (divided into two rows). Initially, there was a slight problem because the planks were not placed correctly, so the driver had to reverse the car. However, the performance was very successful afterwards. This further proved the "iron-skinned" strength of the soldiers.
The police force's S5 bulletproof vehicle, weighing more than 15 tons (without a driver), is being pulled by 3 soldiers during the demonstration.
Using a knife to pull a heavy truck is a familiar performance to many people, but the performer here is a female police officer.
The female police officers can do more than that with different performances such as supporting the force of a sledgehammer breaking bricks. These exercises require the soldiers to practice hard, combining the use of energy and whole-body strength.
Push-ups and jumping over a fire rope is also a strange performance for the audience on Dinh Tien Hoang walking street.
A soldier used his bare hands to destroy a pile of tiles in a split second.
Use your body to bend the iron bar while bearing the pressure of breaking bricks on your shoulder.
To successfully use "copper pipes" to bend iron bars, the soldiers had to practice a lot.
Four thick wooden bars broke in half when they hit a soldier's body at the same time.
The service dogs of the Service Animal Training and Use Center have some performances such as jumping through a ring of fire, searching and detecting drugs, attacking simulated criminals...
In addition, the event also featured performances of chasing criminals in dangerous situations.
The situation presented was of young men showing signs of being drunk, swerving and weaving in and out of traffic, disturbing public order, resisting law enforcement officers... The subjects were knocked down by the Mobile Police force with high-class martial arts moves.
People in the capital enjoy exciting performances by the police force.
