(Dan Tri) - Associate Professor, Dr. Chau Dinh Thanh and Dr. Quach Thanh Hai were appointed as Vice Principals of Ho Chi Minh City University of Technical Education for the 2020-2025 term.
At the 24th meeting of the University Council of Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and Education for the 2020-2025 term, the University Council decided to appoint Associate Professor, Dr. Chau Dinh Thanh and Dr. Quach Thanh Hai as Vice Principals of Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and Education for the 2020-2025 term.

Associate Professor, Dr. Chau Dinh Thanh was born in 1975, from Quang Binh.
Mr. Chau Dinh Thanh started working at Ho Chi Minh City University of Technical Education in 2012 after graduating with a PhD in construction from Korea University. After that, he was the head of the structural engineering department, faculty of construction and applied mechanics, and continued to hold the positions of Deputy Head of the faculty of construction and applied mechanics; Head of the faculty of construction.
Mr. Chau Dinh Thanh was awarded the title of Associate Professor in 2019.
Dr. Quach Thanh Hai, born in 1972, hometown in Ninh Binh.
Mr. Quach Thanh Hai is a former student of electrification and power supply at Ho Chi Minh City University of Technical Education.
In 1995, after graduating, Mr. Hai continued to work at the school and held many important positions such as Deputy Head of the Department of Electricity; Deputy Head of the Department of In-service Training Management; Head of the Department of Non-formal Training (now the Department of Cooperation & Training Development); Head of the Department of Administration and Project Management; Head of the Department of Training.

Previously, when Ms. Truong Thi Hien, Party Secretary, was Vice Principal, she was recognized to hold the position of Chairwoman of the School Council for the 2020-2025 term. The Board of Directors of Ho Chi Minh City University of Technical Education only had one member, Associate Professor, Dr. Le Hieu Giang, holding the position of Acting Principal.
