At Quy Nhon Children's Park, An Duong Vuong Street, Quy Nhon City (Binh Dinh), the Seafood Food Festival taking place from July 11 to 15 is attracting a large number of people and tourists from inside and outside the province.

The festival has more than 100 booths of restaurants, food businesses, OCOP products (one product per commune) and traditional craft villages from many provinces and cities across the country participating in displaying and preparing dishes.
The highlight of the festival is the performance of making giant banh xeo with tuna filling by chefs from Ho Chi Minh City.

The giant pancake with a diameter of 2m, the filling of which is made from tuna for the first time, has made locals and tourists extremely curious and excited.
Tourist Duong Minh Tu (from Quang Ngai province) who came to visit the festival said that this was the first time he saw banh xeo made with tuna meat.

"The pancakes are very big and carefully prepared by the chefs. I waited nearly 2 hours to enjoy this pancake dish," said Mr. Tu.
According to chef Tran Ngoc Sang, to have a crispy, delicious banh xeo, mixing the flour is very important.
"This pancake is made from 2kg of flour, 4kg of water, 3kg of tuna filling, 2.5kg of vegetables and bean sprouts," said chef Sang.

On the evening of July 11, the People's Committee of Binh Dinh province held the opening ceremony of the 2024 Binh Dinh Land and Sea Quintessence Festival with the theme "Binh Dinh - Aspiration for the Sea", attracting thousands of people to watch and follow the art program.
Mr. Nguyen Tuan Thanh, Permanent Vice Chairman of Binh Dinh Provincial People's Committee, said that the 2024 Binh Dinh Land and Sea Quintessence Festival has many unique, rich and diverse activities, such as: processing European, Japanese, Korean and Chinese dishes from Binh Dinh ocean tuna.

The festival also features stalls demonstrating crafts and displaying specialty products and OCOP products; performing unique art forms of Binh Dinh province such as bai choi, hat tuong, Cham dance, ho ba trao; along with street festival performances and light festivals.
