On March 12, Binh Dinh Provincial Party Committee held a conference to give opinions on the report assessing the socio-economic situation in the 2020 - 2025 period and tasks and solutions for the 2025 - 2030 period.

According to information from the conference, after 5 years of implementing the resolution of the 20th Provincial Party Congress, Binh Dinh has achieved and exceeded 21/22 socio-economic targets.

The growth rate of gross regional domestic product (GRDP) in the period of 2020 - 2025 is estimated at 7 - 7.2%/year. The total export turnover in the period of 2021 - 2025 is estimated at 8.182 billion USD.

By the end of 2024, the province's GRDP scale will be equivalent to 5.3 billion USD, ranking 25th out of 63 localities nationwide, 5th out of 14 localities in the North Central and Central Coast regions.

Binh Dinh province's economy is assessed to have grown quite well, the economic structure has shifted in a positive direction, and the socio-economic infrastructure continues to be invested in, built and upgraded, well meeting development requirements.

The cooperative relationship between the province and organizations and localities in the country, the region and the world is increasingly expanding. With this growth momentum, Binh Dinh province is gradually asserting itself as an economic driving force of the Central Coast region.

In the period 2025 - 2030, Binh Dinh aims for a GRDP growth rate of 10 - 11%/year. By 2030, the total budget revenue in the area will reach over 30,000 billion VND. Total export turnover in the period 2026 - 2030 will reach over 10 billion USD.

Mr. Ho Quoc Dung - Secretary of Binh Dinh Provincial Party Committee - said that Binh Dinh used to be a poor province, but with its efforts, it has now become a fairly developed province in the Central region and the whole country. This is the achievement of the entire Party Committee, government and people in the province.

The Secretary of the Binh Dinh Provincial Party Committee requested all levels and sectors to deploy breakthrough solutions to achieve the goals set for 2025. Speed ​​up the progress of key projects; continue to care for people's lives, especially poverty reduction; quickly implement the elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses in the province.
