However, Variety reported on March 11 that only photographers and staff were allowed to approach the red carpet instead of the media team.

Fans are in an uproar after 23-year-old Rachel Zegler was cast as Snow White in 2021 simply because she is Latina.
Additionally, the West Side Story actress faced criticism when she said the plot of the 1937 Snow White film was "outdated" because the prince "literally stalks Snow White." "Snow White is not going to be saved by a prince. She's not dreaming of true love, she's dreaming of becoming the leader she knows she can be," Zegler told Variety in 2022.
Zegler also faced backlash for voicing support for Palestine on social media and sharing a lengthy Instagram post saying President Trump and his supporters "will never know peace" after he defeated Kamala Harris in the election last November.
Part of the actress's message reads: "Four more years of hate, pushing us into a world I don't want to live in. My heart aches for my friends who wake up in fear every day. And I'm here with you to cry, to scream, to hug, to talk about how the left continues to fail us in charting a new path forward."
After people called for Zegler to be fired from the Marc Webb-directed Snow White , she issued an apology, saying she let her "emotions get the best of her" when talking about the election.
"I apologize for contributing to the negative discussion. This has been an emotional week for so many of us, but I firmly believe that everyone is entitled to their own opinion, even if it differs from mine," she wrote.

Disney also faced backlash for casting little people as the seven dwarfs in the remake. The company later changed the dwarfs to "magical creatures" of all sizes and genders.
Snow White will be released in theaters worldwide, including Vietnam, on March 21.
