From now until August 25, Ho Chi Minh City University of Medicine and Pharmacy Hospital organizes the Continuous Medical Knowledge Update Week. This is an important annual medical science event in the Southern region to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the hospital's founding. The program attracts more than 5,500 registrants nationwide.
This year, the Week attracted the participation of many specialties with 44 topics and more than 250 live and online reports via the Zoom webinar platform. In addition to theoretical presentations updating new indications in diagnosis, treatment and disease prevention, some surgical sessions also included clinical skills practice and demonstration surgery under the guidance of leading experts.
In the inevitable trend of the ongoing scientific and technological revolution, the Week also builds a number of topics related to digital applications and artificial intelligence in disease diagnosis and treatment.
