Colonel Huynh Quang Tam, Head of PC07 Department, assessed Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Chi Thanh as a capable, experienced, brave and courageous commander. The Head of PC07 Department hopes that Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Chi Thanh and the department's leaders will successfully carry out the unit's responsibilities and tasks in fire prevention and rescue work.
Receiving the decision, the new Deputy Head of PC07 deeply thanked the leaders of Ho Chi Minh City Police for their attention and trust; at the same time, Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Chi Thanh promised to continue to improve his knowledge and professional qualifications, and together with the PC07 team, strive to excellently complete all assigned tasks; do a good job of directing and effectively implementing fire prevention and rescue work, contributing to ensuring security and order in Ho Chi Minh City.
Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Chi Thanh (born in 1981, from Thai Binh province) has worked in the industry since February 2001 and has been awarded the title of Advanced Soldier and Emulation Soldier at the grassroots level for many consecutive years. In more than 20 years of working, Lieutenant Colonel Thanh has held many positions and participated in many rescue missions in Ho Chi Minh City and other provinces nationwide.

Notably, when Türkiye suffered an earthquake, Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Chi Thanh was one of 24 officers and soldiers who went to support the neighboring country in overcoming the consequences of the disaster. In June 2023, Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Chi Thanh was awarded the title of Hero of the People's Armed Forces by the President.
