Within the framework of the 7th Hanoi International Film Festival, the Vietnam Film Institute organized the exhibition “Vietnam’s UNESCO-recognized heritages - Experience through cinema footage” from November 7 to 11, at the National Cinema Center, Hanoi.
With the theme "Cinema: Creativity - Take Off", the exhibition is not only an opportunity to promote the image of Vietnam but also an occasion to honor tangible and intangible cultural heritages recognized by UNESCO, while contributing to promoting the development of the Vietnamese cinema industry. Here, viewers have the opportunity to admire nearly 200 photos taken in cinematic footage by domestic and international filmmakers. These scenes not only depict the natural beauty and famous historical sites of Vietnam, but also convey the message of friendliness and hospitality of the people and the country. An important part of the exhibition is the photos taken by professional photographers, with about 40-50 outstanding works, including photos of Vietnam's heritage and Hanoi city, especially Hanoi - City for Peace. These works are provided by the Department of Cultural Heritage and the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism, with the contribution of talented photographers, bringing deep and emotional perspectives on Vietnamese culture and people. This event not only serves the public's need to enjoy art but also contributes to raising awareness of the value of cultural heritage and promoting Vietnam's tourism industry. In addition, the exhibition is also an opportunity to connect domestic and foreign film producers, creating a premise for the development of Vietnamese cinema in the international arena, while contributing to the 70th anniversary of the Liberation of Hanoi Capital.
