This project has an investment of up to 3,400 billion VND and is considered the most modern intersection in Ho Chi Minh City. |
After more than a year of construction, two items of the An Phu intersection project, Ba Dat bridge and Giong Ong To bridge, have taken shape and are expected to be completed by the end of this year. |
The Mai Chi Tho - Dong Van Cong intersection underpass is currently 65% complete, has completed some open tunnel sections and is continuing to construct the remaining open tunnel sections. |
Currently, the investor is renovating Mai Chi Tho Street connecting to D1 Street to serve traffic organization before constructing closed tunnel segments. |
Workers are working at full capacity to put the project into operation soon. |
An Phu intersection always has a very high traffic density, especially container trucks. The construction of the 3-level intersection is being accelerated to complete the entire project by April 2025. |
Currently, the total volume of the underpass project has reached 50%. Of which, the Mai Chi Tho underpass crossing Dong Van Cong Street (HC1-01) has reached 65%, the underpass at An Phu intersection (HC1-02) has reached 45%. |
According to the project investor, the consulting unit and the investor are studying a plan to close the Mai Chi Tho - Dong Van Cong intersection for 4 months to synchronously construct the underpass and overpass here to shorten the project's progress. |
According to the Ho Chi Minh City Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board (investor), An Phu intersection started construction at the end of 2022 and is expected to be completed by April 30, 2025. |
