Dr. Le Anh Duc - Head of Training Management Department, National Economics University - said that in response to the adjustments proposed by the Ministry of Education and Training in the draft Admission Regulations, the school will make some adjustments.
In the draft regulations, the Ministry of Education and Training requires that all admission methods use a common scale to evaluate candidates' similar abilities. Therefore, all methods will use a common scale, for example, at the National Economics University, the scale used is 30.
The National Economics University has decided not to divide the quota for admission methods as in previous years. A candidate applying to the school may have multiple admission data (the capacity assessment test scores of the two National Universities, the Thinking assessment test scores of the Hanoi University of Science and Technology, combined admission...) which will be converted to a 30-point scale at the equivalent level. From there, the school will take the highest score to consider for the candidate.

In the 2025 Enrollment Project announced by the National Economics University in early January, the University uses three admission methods: direct admission according to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training, considering high school graduation exam results, and combined admission.
This year, the National Economics University will recruit 4 groups: A00 (Math, Physics, Chemistry), A01 (Math, Physics, English), D01 (Math, Literature, English), D07 (Math, Chemistry, English) instead of 9 groups like in 2024.
