Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak told CNBC that a large department is needed to find inefficiencies, administrative burdens and bureaucracy in government, and that the process should be tackled piece by piece with “a scalpel rather than a sledgehammer.”

Mr. Wozniak said he “doesn’t understand what’s going on in Elon Musk’s head.” He called DOGE’s mass layoffs at federal agencies “bullying.”

The Apple co-founder revealed that his X account appears to have been blocked for the past 2 to 3 months, despite not violating any social network regulations. He also took every step to restore the account but was unsuccessful.

“Maybe because I'm not on Elon's side,” he said.

Mr. Wozniak owns a few Teslas but doesn’t like the way the electric cars have changed over time, calling each change “worse and worse” and the current user interface “miserable.”

“User interface is the most important thing in the world to me, and Tesla is the worst in the world at it,” he said.

He also doesn't like Tesla's Auto Pilot or Full Self Driving driver assistance features due to safety concerns about the system.
