The decision of the People's Committee of Ha Tinh province on allocating budget to support the implementation of cultural and sports policies is specified in 3 important categories, most of which are aimed at heritages.
The People's Committee of Ha Tinh province has just issued a decision to allocate more than 16.3 billion VND from the budget, from the previous year's revenue transferred to units and localities to support funding for implementing cultural and sports policies in 2022 to be implemented in 2023. |

The decision of the Provincial People's Committee includes 3 support categories including: Preserving folk songs of Nghe Tinh, Truyen Kieu, Phuc Giang School Woodblocks, Hoang Hoa Su Trinh Do (over 2 billion VND); restoring and preventing degradation of relics in 2022 (8.045 billion VND); policy funding for building and improving grassroots cultural and sports institutions in 2022 (6.3 billion VND).
It is worth noting that in the above list, the Provincial People's Committee has paid attention to providing specific support for heritage types that bring pride to Ha Tinh. Accordingly, the Provincial People's Committee supports: building 16 new Vi and Giam folk song clubs and maintaining the operation of 176 Vi and Giam folk song clubs (each club 5 million VND); supporting the maintenance of 2 Ca Tru clubs, 3 Kieu tro clubs in Nghi Xuan and Loc Ha districts (each club 30 million VND); preserving the Tale of Kieu (restoring some Nom versions of Kieu currently kept at the Institute of Han Nom Studies with a budget of 30 million VND), preserving the Woodblocks of Phuc Giang School and Hoang Hoa Su Trinh Do (printing the book "Collection of typical works of Nguyen Huy Truong Luu's literary lineage" with a budget of 60 million VND).
The Provincial People's Committee also allocated funds to support artisans and funds to promote and preserve Vi and Giam folk songs to nurture the livelihood of intangible cultural heritages.

Previously, regarding the above contents, the Department of Finance proposed in Document No. 2014/STC-HCSN dated May 22, 2023.
The Provincial People's Committee assigns responsibility to the Department of Finance, the Provincial State Treasury and relevant agencies to disburse funds promptly and in accordance with regulations. Units and localities receiving funding are required to be responsible for managing and using the funds for the right purposes, in accordance with regulations and to make payments in accordance with current regulations.
The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Department of Finance are requested to take full responsibility before the law, the Provincial People's Committee, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and inspection and examination agencies for the accuracy of information, data, allocated funds, audit content, compliance with legal provisions and recommendations and advice in the above documents.
