The Hanoi Department of Construction has just requested the Traffic Infrastructure Maintenance Board to coordinate with its affiliated units to deploy solutions to ensure traffic safety and reduce traffic congestion in the city.

Specifically, the Department requested units to cut down the median strip 70m long and 3m wide in front of Taisei Tower 289 Khuat Duy Tien; move technical infrastructure of trees, lighting... and move the bus stop 150m back towards Trung Hoa intersection, between pillars T221-T222.

At the same time, narrow part of the traffic island on Khuat Duy Tien Street at the red light stop at Trung Hoa intersection in the direction of Mai Dich, the width is narrowed to about 3.2m.

At the Do Duc Duc - Pham Hung intersection, the Hanoi Department of Construction requested to count the traffic volume turning left from Pham Hung Street to Do Duc Duc Street and the road connecting Nam Trung Yen resettlement area to Pham Hung Street. Based on that, research and adjust traffic lights to match the actual traffic volume.

At the Giai Phong-Le Duan-Dai Co Viet intersection, the Department requested to arrange a left-turn lane for vehicles from Giai Phong Street to Xa Dan Street; install curbs to prevent motorcyclists from entering the lane for the disabled at the traffic island on the side of Xa Dan Street.

At the May 10 - Nguyen Van Linh intersection, the cycle of the pedestrian crossing light system is adjusted to match the area's traffic volume to reduce congestion on the route.

The Phap Van expressway service road area at the end of lane 15 Tran Thu Do has B40 mesh fences installed at damaged, lost and missing locations; damaged guardrails have been repaired...
