More than 170 athletes participate in the 2025 National Club Sepak Takraw Championship

The tournament has the participation of 13 units with more than 170 male and female athletes from provinces and cities across the country, gathering many strong teams in the Sepak Takraw movement such as: Ho Chi Minh City, Dong Thap, Bac Giang, Hanoi, Hue City, Hai Phong...

At the tournament, athletes will compete for 9 sets of medals in the following categories: men's singles, women's singles, men's doubles, women's doubles, mixed doubles, men's team, women's team, 4-men team and 4-women team.

The teams compete fiercely and dramatically.

Sharing about the tournament, Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism Bui Thanh Dung said that the National Club Sepak Takraw Championship is held annually to evaluate the training of athletes in localities and sectors. Through the tournament, experts from local teams to national teams can evaluate the training work and select outstanding individuals to supplement the national team to prepare for competing in regional and international tournaments, especially the 33rd Seagames taking place in Thailand at the end of this year.

After two days of qualifying round on March 23-24, the tournament recorded intense matches in all the competition contents according to the regulations. According to the assessment of the Organizing Committee, the teams participating in this year's tournament are well prepared in both technical expertise and participating forces. The tournament will last until March 26.
