DTO - On the morning of March 25, the Dong Thap Provincial Party Committee delegation led by comrade Le Quoc Phong - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, had a working session with the Standing Committee of Chau Thanh District Party Committee on the situation of organizing the political system and socio-economic development in 2025.

Attending the meeting were comrade Huynh Minh Tuan - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; leaders of a number of provincial departments, branches and sectors and leaders of Chau Thanh district.

Comrade Duong Hong Lac - Provincial Party Committee member, Chau Thanh District Party Committee Secretary reported at the meeting.

Reporting to the working delegation on the results of the implementation of the arrangement and streamlining of the political system according to the documents of the Central and the province, comrade Duong Hong Lac - Provincial Party Committee member, Secretary of Chau Thanh District Party Committee said that after the arrangement and streamlining, Chau Thanh District Party Committee now has 4 specialized agencies for advising and assisting, reducing 1 agency and having 1 concurrent organization; the specialized agencies under the District People's Committee are 10 agencies, reducing 2 agencies. The district has proposed to consider and resolve the regime and policies according to Decree No. 178 of the Government for 1 comrade; currently there are 13 cadres, civil servants and public employees who have voluntarily applied for early retirement to enjoy the regime according to Decree No. 178 of the Government.

Regarding the socio-economic development situation, as of March 7, 2025, the total state budget revenue in the district reached over 311 billion VND, reaching over 35% of the estimate; disbursement of over 31 billion VND, reaching over 12% of the capital plan. Chau Thanh district has 11/11 communes meeting new rural standards, 7/11 communes meeting advanced new rural standards; 6 newly registered industrial production establishments, up to now there are 1,513 establishments, total capital of over 116 billion VND; total tourists are estimated at over 8,500 arrivals, an increase of 226% compared to 2024 (as of March 2025), revenue reaching over 1.2 billion VND...

Comrade Le Quoc Phong - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee delivered a concluding speech at the working session with the Standing Committee of Chau Thanh District Party Committee.

Besides acknowledging and appreciating the efforts and determination to overcome difficulties of the Standing Committee of Chau Thanh District Party Committee, Comrade Le Quoc Phong - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee emphasized that the revolution of restructuring and streamlining the apparatus is a major policy of the Party and State. After restructuring, the tasks and workload are very large, requiring high quality and progress in performing tasks. Therefore, he requested the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee, cadres and Party members of Chau Thanh District to uphold their roles, responsibilities, solidarity, and determination to effectively carry out tasks in all situations.

In addition to reviewing and evaluating job positions after the rearrangement, comrade Le Quoc Phong requested that localities continue to thoroughly grasp the Party and State's policies on socio-economic development and streamlining the apparatus; promote solidarity, trust and compliance with the Party's policies, complete political tasks; ensure continuous operations without affecting work; propagate and mobilize cadres and party members to be exemplary and strictly comply with assignments; and carefully prepare personnel work for the rearrangement of administrative units.

Comrade Le Quoc Phong requested that localities pay attention to and implement solutions on growth targets for sectors and fields, ensuring the achievement of economic growth targets; speed up the implementation of civil works, care for people's lives; monitor and promptly direct the disbursement of public investment capital, compensation for site clearance; promote the application of science and technology in agricultural production; strengthen investment attraction policies and synchronous planning to promote the development of industrial parks and clusters...
