Since the beginning of the year, the sports sector has carried out many activities, focusing on implementing Conclusion 70 of the Politburo on developing physical training and sports in the new period. Along with that, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism has issued a plan to implement the Vietnam Sports Strategy to 2030, with a vision to 2045.

According to Deputy Minister Hoang Dao Cuong, the implementation of Conclusion 70 and the Sports Development Strategy will create a combined strength for sustainable development of Vietnamese sports.

Previously, the Women's Futsal Team also won the Southeast Asian Championship; the U22 Football Team just had 2 draws against 2 strong opponents, Korea and Uzbekistan... In addition to the football teams, many other teams also achieved achievements such as the Shooting Team won 2 gold medals, 2 silver medals, 4 bronze medals at the Asian Shooting Cup; the Women's Sepak Takraw Team won the world championship for the first time when defeating the Thai Team.

Vietnamese sports are making every effort to prepare for the 33rd SEA Games, held later this year in Thailand, with the goal of achieving the best results.

Deputy Minister Hoang Dao Cuong expressed his hope that in the coming time, Vietnamese sports will continue to receive attention and close direction from Party and State leaders so that the sports industry can continue to develop more strongly.
