Hanoi allows the transfer of part of the urban project in Dong Anh

Hanoi has just allowed VEFAC - a subsidiary of Vingroup Corporation, to transfer part of the Vinhomes Co Loa project in Dong Anh district. The total investment for the transferred part is about VND30,360.5 billion.

The Hanoi People's Committee has just issued a decision allowing the Vietnam Exhibition Fair Center Joint Stock Company (VEFAC, under Vingroup) to transfer part of the investment project to build a new urban area in Xuan Canh, Dong Hoi, Mai Lam communes ( Vinhomes Co Loa ) in Dong Anh district to T&T New Era Joint Stock Company.

According to the decision, VEFAC (investor) will transfer part of the project to T&T.

The transfer of VEFAC includes the transfer of a part of the project. Specifically, the land for construction of high-rise housing, low-rise housing, mixed-use buildings and public land for business purposes will be transferred, with a total area of ​​up to 75 hectares, of which 42.7 hectares is residential land and 32.3 hectares is public land.

Total investment for the transfer is about 30,360.5 billion VND.

Current status of the transferred project: site clearance completed, construction underway according to the approved investment project.

The decision of the Hanoi People's Committee requires relevant agencies such as the Department of Construction, Department of Agriculture and Environment, Department of Finance, Department of Planning and Architecture, Tax Department of Region I, and Dong Anh District People's Committee to monitor and support the transfer process.

The investment project to build a new urban area in Xuan Canh, Dong Hoi, Mai Lam communes (Dong Anh district, Hanoi) has a total land use area of ​​261.46 hectares. The project is expected to serve about 37,300 people, with a total investment capital of up to VND 34,879 billion.

The project is expected to be completed in the third quarter of 2025.
