In December 2024, Lenger Seafoods Vietnam Co., Ltd., An Xa Industrial Cluster (Nam Dinh City) was honored to receive the Gold Award of the National Quality Award 2022 - one of the noble titles awarded by the Prime Minister. Since its establishment, Lenger Seafoods Vietnam has always aimed at sustainable farming and production, being responsible to society and the community, ensuring high-quality products, enhancing the value of "Vietnamese Clams" products. Currently, Lenger Seafoods Vietnam Factory complies with the highest quality management standards for food factories such as: MSC CoC standard; IFS Foods quality management certification; SMETA social responsibility certification; ASC farming area certification... Not only outstanding in quality management, Lenger Seafoods Vietnam also plays an important role in regional and world economic integration, especially when more than 80% of the company's products are exported to demanding markets such as the EU, Japan, the US and Korea. In addition, Lenger Seafoods Vietnam holds the "top" position in supplying fresh clams to supermarkets, food stores and large restaurant chains in the country. Factors such as product quality, food safety and continuous improvement are the foundation for the Company's success and are the key factors that helped Lenger achieve the Gold Award of the National Quality Award.
The National Quality Award is an award given by the Prime Minister to organizations and enterprises with outstanding achievements in improving the quality of goods and products. The purpose of the award is to honor and reward enterprises with outstanding achievements in improving the quality of production and business, as well as enhancing the capacity, competitiveness and integration of enterprises in the market. Participating in the National Quality Award is also an opportunity for enterprises to learn, evaluate and improve the entire operation of the unit in a comprehensive manner, thereby providing solutions to overcome shortcomings in the process of management and operation of production and business...
Realizing the importance and great significance of the National Quality Award, the Department of Science and Technology (KH and CN) has coordinated with media agencies to promote propaganda, dissemination, and develop columns on the significance of the National Quality Award; assign staff to mobilize and guide businesses to participate in training courses; organize a preliminary selection council for the Provincial Quality Award; propose the National Quality Award Council to consider awarding to typical businesses that fully meet the criteria of the Award... The Department of Science and Technology has also advised the Provincial People's Committee to submit to the Provincial People's Council to issue Resolution No. 42/2017/NQ-HDND dated July 10, 2017 and Resolution No. 77/2022/NQ-HDND dated July 6, 2022 (replacing Resolution No. 42/2017/NQ-HDND) regulating a number of financial support policies in science and technology activities and the innovative startup ecosystem in the province. Including financial support for enterprises participating in the National Quality Award and the International Quality Award. During the participation in the National Quality Award, enterprises in the province always receive close attention, direction, support and facilitation from the Provincial People's Committee and functional agencies. In addition, enterprises also have the opportunity to comprehensively evaluate their operations, thereby making efforts to innovate and improve the production process and quality management according to the system of 7 groups of criteria of the Award including: leadership role; operational strategy; customer and market-oriented policy; measurement, analysis and knowledge management; human resource management and development; management of the operation process of organizations and enterprises; operational results of organizations and enterprises. In addition, businesses also receive comments and recommendations to help perfect their management system, improve production processes, and enhance product and goods quality from experts and Council members from the preliminary selection level to the National Council level.
In recent years, the movement to participate in the National Quality Award in our province has become regular, attracting the attention of many businesses, and has grown in quantity and quality. Many businesses have made their mark with outstanding achievements, affirming the quality of their products and services and winning high awards. Typically, Nam Duoc Company Limited won the National Quality Award in 2014; Nam Ha Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company won the National Quality Award in 2015 and 2020; Nam Ha Garment Joint Stock Company won the National Quality Award for 7 consecutive years from 2010 to 2017; Dinh Moc Mechanical Company Limited won the National Quality Award for 5 years; Minh Duong One Member Co., Ltd. won the National Quality Award in 2020... It can be seen that a number of enterprises in the province have won the award many times, demonstrating stable quality, the ability to innovate, constantly improve production processes and enhance transparency in management to enhance competitiveness, creating new opportunities in the domestic and international markets. Not only is it a recognition from experts, winning the National Quality Award also helps Nam Dinh enterprises affirm their brands, enhance their reputation in the market, build trust with consumers, contribute to sustainable development and expand export markets for the province's products. This is a vivid demonstration of the value of the National Quality Award for the sustainable development of Nam Dinh enterprises.
In addition to the achieved results, the organization and implementation of the National Quality Award of the province still has some limitations such as: the number of enterprises registering to participate each year is still low compared to the number of enterprises operating in the province; some enterprises do not have a long-term vision, do not have aspirations and are hesitant to participate... To improve the quality of participation in the National Quality Award, in the coming time, the Department of Science and Technology will continue to propagate and disseminate to all levels, sectors and enterprises to fully and deeply understand the value of the National Quality Award. Proactively select and survey enterprises with outstanding production and business activities in the province to guide enterprises to register to participate. Improve the quality of training courses for enterprises, help them understand the participation process and prepare effective documents...
The National Quality Award provides an important motivation for businesses to improve product quality, improve production and management processes, and increase competitiveness in domestic and international markets. Participating in the National Quality Award will be an opportunity for Nam Dinh businesses to affirm their position, build a prestigious brand and promote sustainable development.
