Proposing new policies on housing support for policy families and the poor

Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha emphasized that the summary and evaluation of the effectiveness of these three policies must be placed in relation to and linked with other programs, mechanisms and policies. Similarly, the results of housing support for these subjects are not outside the overall goal of housing support for social policy subjects in particular, and the implementation of social policies for housing development in general. At the same time, it is necessary to clarify the position, role and responsibility of the State, the Fatherland Front, socio-political organizations, agencies, enterprises, individuals... in mobilizing, contributing and using resources for social housing support.

The Deputy Prime Minister requested the Ministry of Construction to urgently coordinate with relevant ministries and branches to complete the summary report; propose new housing support mechanisms and policies. The policies must clarify the scope, groups of supported subjects, and support mechanisms for each group...

The Deputy Prime Minister stated that policies must affirm the State's leading role in supporting housing for people with meritorious services, the poor, and those in difficulty.
