Thanh Hoa City strives to complete the housing support campaign for poor households and households with housing difficulties before June 30, 2025.

On the morning of March 20, the Steering Committee of the Campaign to Build Housing for Poor Households, Policy Families, and Households with Housing Difficulties in Thanh Hoa City (hereinafter referred to as the Steering Committee) held a meeting of the Standing Committee of the Steering Committee of the Campaign to Support Housing Construction Phase 2 according to Directive 22-CT/TU of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee. Attending and chairing the meeting was Comrade Le Anh Xuan, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Thanh Hoa City.

Comrade Le Anh Xuan, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Thanh Hoa City, presented a Certificate of Merit from the Chairman of the City People's Committee to the People's Committee of Dong Quang Commune for its outstanding achievements in implementing the Campaign to support housing construction for poor households, policy households, and households with housing difficulties in Thanh Hoa City in the two years 2024-2025.

The conference was held directly at the People's Committee of Dong Quang commune and connected online to 46 communes and wards in Thanh Hoa city.

According to the report of the Thanh Hoa City Steering Committee, as of December 31, 2024, the total amount of funds received into the account of the Thanh Hoa City Fatherland Front Committee was over 43.5 billion VND. The allocation and transfer of funds to directly support households in building and repairing houses was 11 billion 270 million VND; the transfer to mountainous districts was 7.8 billion VND; the transfer to the Provincial Steering Committee was over 23.3 billion VND; and the transfer to 2025 was over 3.4 billion VND.

In the first phase of 2024, the total number of households approved for housing construction support according to Directive 22-CT/TU is 161 households. Completed and put into use in 2024 is 147 households (new construction: 128 households, repair: 19 households).

In the second phase (from January 2025 to present), the City Fatherland Front Committee received more than 17.9 billion VND. To date, 16 wards, communes and 10 units, agencies and schools have exceeded the target.

Thanh Hoa City has 100 households approved for funding to build and repair houses in the second phase of 2025. Of these, 79 households will be newly built and 21 households will be repaired. Each ward and commune has selected 1 household to start construction simultaneously on March 20, 2025. The remaining households will start construction no later than April 10, 2025.

At the conference, delegates contributed many important ideas to remove difficulties and obstacles in the implementation of Directive 22-CT/TU of their units; at the same time, they expressed their determination to implement on schedule according to regulations.

Concluding the conference, comrade Le Anh Xuan, Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Thanh Hoa City highly appreciated the good and creative ways of many units such as Dong Hoang, Dong Quang, Hoang Dai communes... In the coming time, the Secretary of the Thanh Hoa City Party Committee requested the Steering Committees of communes and wards to strengthen their direction and participate with units in the implementation to ensure the completion of assigned targets and report the progress to the City Steering Committee.

Units strengthen propaganda work on the implementation of the second phase of the Campaign to support housing construction for poor households, policy households, and households with housing difficulties according to Directive No. 22-CT/TU of the Provincial Party Standing Committee to all cadres, party members and people, ensuring effectiveness in implementing the campaign.

Regarding difficulties and problems related to planning, it is necessary to specifically report to the City People's Committee so that the city can direct relevant departments and offices to pay attention to reviewing and resolving each specific case and synthesizing and reporting to the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee to promptly remove difficulties, simultaneously start construction of houses for poor households and households with housing difficulties, no later than April 10 for the second phase and complete before June 30, 2025 so that poor households, policy families, and households with housing difficulties can soon have stable and safe housing.
