For nearly 2 weeks, the intersection of Thang Long Avenue and Trung Van has been congested due to the construction of a high-voltage power line. Especially during rush hour, traffic is very difficult.
According to VietNamNet reporters, at noon on March 19, Thang Long Avenue (through the intersection to Trung Van, Nam Tu Liem district, Hanoi) was in a state of prolonged traffic jam.
According to research, for nearly 2 weeks, Thang Long Avenue, at the intersection of Trung Van - Mieu Dam towards Tran Duy Hung Street, construction units have barricaded and dug up the road to construct a high-voltage power line project.
The barricades occupy part of the roadway, making it difficult for vehicles to move into the inner city.
In the fenced areas, traffic is often congested.
Thousands of cars lined up for kilometers on Thang Long Avenue from Lang Hoa Lac to Hanoi City Center.
A representative of Traffic Police Team No. 6 (Traffic Police Department - Hanoi Police) said that at the intersection of Thang Long Avenue - Trung Van towards Hanoi Center, for nearly 2 weeks, due to the construction unit digging the road to make a high-voltage underground power line, it has caused local congestion.
According to the representative of Traffic Police Team No. 6, the construction unit here has a construction permit from the Hanoi Department of Transport. The authorities regularly direct traffic but congestion still occurs.
