Today (March 19), Phuc Son Group Joint Stock Company (Phuc Son Group) has just announced in its plan sent to the Khanh Hoa Provincial Land Fund Development Center and related units about restarting the construction of the Ngoc Hoi traffic intersection project, after a period of interruption.

According to the plan, from March 20, the enterprise will start implementing the unfinished items of the above project. More specifically, the contractor will construct the drainage system of the ground-level collector road of branch N1 (east), the section from the railway to Cho Moi bridge.

Regarding the scope of the ground level access road, branches N1, N3 (west), the pedestrian bridge across the railway and some other items, Phuc Son Company has proposed a completion schedule in July 2025.

For the N4 branch (north) at locations where the site is available, the contractor will complete some items from now until September 2025.

In addition, Phuc Son Group recommends that relevant authorities quickly complete site clearance for locations where there is no available land for construction, to avoid interruption.

Currently, Phuc Son Group has completed the personnel structure of the Representative Office in Nha Trang, and arranged finances to ensure continued implementation of the next projects.

The Ngoc Hoi traffic intersection project is located between the North-South expressway and October 23 and May 19 streets (Vinh Hiep commune and Ngoc Hiep ward) with a total capital of 1,351 billion VND. According to the design, Ngoc Hoi intersection has 4 overpass branches including N1 (East branch), N2 (South branch), N3 (West branch) and N4 (North branch).

This is a key project of the province, expected to reduce traffic congestion at the western gateway of Nha Trang. The project started at the end of 2017, expected to be completed after 2 years. However, the construction process was behind schedule, the investor requested many extensions.

Currently, the basic project has been completed and put into operation. However, the investor has not yet received the site for the Northern branch (N4) so ​​they are still waiting, from which they will have a construction plan.

Regarding Phuc Son Group, in February 2024, Mr. Nguyen Van Hau (commonly known as Hau Phao - Chairman of the Board of Directors of the company) was prosecuted and detained by the Ministry of Public Security. The Ngoc Hoi intersection project was also suspended. The construction unit only carried out bridge painting and cleaning of excess soil, rocks, and materials on branches N1 and N3.

The current status of BT projects in Nha Trang related to the recently arrested Chairman of Phuc Son Group Phuc Son Group, with Mr. Nguyen Van Hau as Chairman of the Board of Directors, was assigned by the People's Committee of Khanh Hoa province to carry out 3 BT (Build - Transfer) projects. The investigation police agency is asking Khanh Hoa to provide documents on Phuc Son's projects.
