The 42nd National Television Festival took place from March 19 to 22 in Quy Nhon City, Binh Dinh Province. This year's festival is a place for television professionals across the country to meet, exchange expertise and update modern trends.
This is also the first time the National Television Festival has been held in Binh Dinh - a land rich in cultural, historical and revolutionary traditions, the homeland of the Tay Son movement associated with the name of the national hero Quang Trung - Nguyen Hue. The festival takes place at a very meaningful time, when Binh Dinh province celebrates the 50th anniversary of the province's Liberation Day.

But this is also the time for agencies in the political system, including the press and television, to promote the revolution of streamlining the organizational apparatus, building, perfecting, and improving performance, effectiveness, and efficiency of operations, meeting the requirements and tasks of the country in the new era - the era of striving for strong, prosperous development of the nation. Change will bring difficulties and challenges along with thoughts and aspirations, but only when we dare to break out of old limits, strongly reaching out of our comfort zone, can we break through to reach greater successes.
Mr. Nguyen Thanh Lam emphasized: “With the above meaningful professional activities, I hope that the 42nd National Television Festival in Binh Dinh will continue the success of previous festivals, continuing to be a meaningful professional event for those working in television. I believe that, with the solidarity and dedication of all colleagues, Vietnam Television will continue to develop sustainably, bringing true information values and contributing to enriching the spiritual life of the people”.

Therefore, the National Television Festival is always an opportunity for us to look back on the past, honor outstanding achievements and together orient our development for the future.
In addition to selecting and honoring the best television works of the past two years, the highlight of this Festival is that the specialized events all aim at the goal of "digital transformation - content innovation - multi-platform development" - which can be considered a guideline for the Vietnamese television press system in the digital age and the era of the country's rise.
Seminars on “Skills of television journalists in the digital environment”, “Application of technology in digital transformation at television stations”, introduction of VTV Ratings measurement system… will create a forum for practical exchange, learning and career development, opening up opportunities for colleagues to share initiatives, experiences and breakthrough solutions for the industry.
In addition, exhibitions of advanced television technology and visits to unique locations in Binh Dinh also contribute to enriching the experience and updating information for you.
