That same morning, the online community shared a short clip recording a traffic police officer asking for a violator's driving license. The officer then said two rude words.
After verification, on the afternoon of March 10, the Cat Lai Traffic Police Team (Traffic Police Department, Ho Chi Minh City Police) patrolled and controlled on Vo Nguyen Giap Street.
At this time, the police discovered that Mr. HVH (30 years old, living in Ba Ria - Vung Tau province) did not have a left rearview mirror, so they stopped the car and asked to check his papers.
However, Mr. H. said he did not bring his vehicle registration. At the same time, the traffic police officer blurted out inappropriate words to the officer accompanying him, not to the violator.
Seeing the traffic police take out the administrative violation report, Mr. H. then presented his driver's license. Mr. H. was issued an administrative violation report for the error "No rearview mirror on the left side of the driver".
