(NLDO) - The driver refused to sign the administrative violation ticket. He argued and then suddenly snatched the administrative violation ticket from the hand of the traffic police officer who was handling the case.
Regarding the information "Requesting 2 traffic police officers to report after clip on social media", on February 10, the Traffic Police Department (PC08) of Ho Chi Minh City Police said that on the same morning, a clip was shared on social media showing a traffic police officer using restraint measures, taking back the administrative violation record and arguing with the violator.
Through verification, the incident occurred at around 4:55 p.m. on February 9 at the intersection of Nguyen Thi Thap - Tan My, Binh Thuan Ward, District 7, Ho Chi Minh City.
At that time, the Traffic Police Team of the Traffic Police - Order of District 7 Police was patrolling and controlling, making a record of an administrative violation of 1 case at the intersection of Nguyen Thi Thap - Tan My.
At this time, the traffic police discovered that the driver TVP (39 years old, living in An Giang province) was driving a technology taxi turning right at a prohibited sign, so they asked the vehicle to stop for inspection and handling.
After the task force drew up a record of administrative violations, driver P. refused to sign. He argued and suddenly snatched the record of administrative violations from the hands of the traffic police officer who was handling the case.
Although the traffic police asked for the ticket to be returned, driver P. refused. To prevent the violator from destroying the ticket, the traffic police restrained him to get it back; at the same time, they reported the incident to the unit and asked the Binh Thuan Ward Police to assist in handling the case.
After being taken to the Binh Thuan Ward Police Station, driver P. regained his composure. He realized that his actions were wrong, so he wrote a report admitting to his violations.
Driver P. reported that he was worried because he knew the penalty for his violation was quite high and because of the pressure of life, he did not sign the ticket, then lost control and behaved inappropriately towards the traffic police.
Driver P. apologized and hoped for the sympathy of the traffic police. This driver signed the administrative violation report and complied with the punishment of the authorities.
The Traffic Police - Order Team of District 7 Police agreed to let driver P. sign an additional administrative violation report.
