In her opening speech, Editor-in-Chief of the People's Representative Newspaper Pham Thi Thanh Huyen stated that exactly 78 years ago, more than 20 million people across the country, under the Party's flag, rose up to carry out the earth-shaking August Revolution of 1945, smashing the domination of French colonialists and Japanese fascists, overthrowing the thousand-year feudal regime. On September 2, 1945, at the historic Ba Dinh Square, President Ho Chi Minh solemnly announced the Declaration of Independence, giving birth to the Democratic Republic of Vietnam.

The success of the August Revolution in 1945 and the birth of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam was a great turning point, a brilliant milestone in the heroic history of the nation; bringing our country into a new era - the era of national independence associated with socialism; leading our people from slavery to the political stage to master their own destiny.

Time has passed, but the significance of the victory and lessons learned from the August Revolution shine brighter and brighter. The spirit of the August Revolution is the foundation and source of great spiritual strength on the nation's path to greatness.

The art program "Ba Dinh Sun" consists of 3 chapters. Chapter I: The country stands up; Chapter II: Praising President Ho; Chapter III: Pride of Vietnam. The program aims to once again affirm the position, great stature, and great historical value of the August Revolution and National Day September 2; affirm the role of the Communist Party of Vietnam and President Ho Chi Minh, and pay tribute to the great contributions of our ancestors in the cause of national liberation, building and defending the Fatherland. Through the program, we aim to arouse the spirit of national solidarity, foster patriotism, and strengthen the people's trust in the leadership of the Party and State to build an increasingly strong and powerful Vietnam.
