These days, at the National Military Training Center 4 (My Duc District, Hanoi), more than 1,900 cadres, soldiers, officers, militiamen and self-defense soldiers from 16 officer blocks, despite the erratic rain and cold, are still enthusiastically practicing to prepare for the parade and march in the celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification.

Among the 16 officer corps, the female soldiers of the military band, medical unit, peacekeeping unit, information unit and militia unit stand out with their strong and courageous steps. To do this, they have undergone difficult and arduous training sessions, overcoming homesickness when having to be stationed for many months at the unit.
As part of the female peacekeeping force, Lieutenant Ta Thu Ha, Military Command of Quang Ninh Province (Military Region 3), said this was the third time she participated in the parade on major national holidays.
According to Ms. Ha, each time participating, there is a different feeling of excitement and honor. Besides that, there are difficulties and hardships due to the weather and training. "Many sisters even sprained their ankles when practicing, and had to soak them in salt water at night to continue their mission the next day. The sisters also miss home when they are away from their families and children, but they are all determined to overcome the difficulties to enter the upcoming rehearsals," said Lieutenant Ha.

Participating in the parade for the first time as the leader of the Northern Women's Militia Bloc, Ms. Bui Thi Trang, a militiawoman in Yen Thanh commune (Yen Thanh district, Nghe An), shared that this was a great honor for her and her family.
In the female militia, each sister has to be away from her family for many days, coming from different localities, but when they come to practice, they are all friendly, united, and share the difficulties to complete the task. "Hopefully, when they see me appear on TV, my family will be proud," said Ms. Trang.
Previously, on March 4, at the National Military Training Center 4, the Ministry of National Defense organized a joint training of troops for a parade in celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day. The Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army also presented gifts to the units participating in the parade. He visited each group of soldiers to personally guide them, check their uniforms, and ask them about their circumstances, living conditions, diet, and difficulties during training.
Inspecting the navy, General Nguyen Tan Cuong instructed the soldiers to relax, not to stiffen up, and to be able to stand for a long time. In addition, he asked the logistics department to change their ties so that their uniforms would be more beautiful and standard.

At the army officer block, General Nguyen Tan Cuong asked soldiers to try to practice regularly. He said that during this time, the weather is prone to illness and epidemics. Therefore, it is necessary to be careful because if soldiers get sick, it will be difficult to replace them.
At the female medical unit, General Nguyen Tan Cuong visited and encouraged the female soldiers. The female soldiers will also practice for the 80th National Day Celebration on September 2, so those who intend to get married between now and September should postpone it to complete their military duties.
