(NLDO) – The disaster risk level of the two earthquakes that occurred in Kon Tum province on the afternoon of November 30 is level 0.
The Earthquake Information and Tsunami Warning Center of the Institute of Geophysics said that at 4:42 p.m. and 10 seconds on November 30, an earthquake measuring 4 on the Richter scale occurred.
The earthquake occurred at the coordinates (14.953 degrees North latitude, 108.142 degrees East longitude), in Kon Plong district, Kon Tum province; focal depth about 8.1 km.
A Facebook post in Quang Nam province said it felt an earthquake.
Next, at 17:12:24 on the same day, an earthquake with a magnitude of 3.8 on the Richter scale also occurred at the coordinates (14.958 degrees North latitude, 108.135 degrees East longitude), in Kon Plong district, Kon Tum province; focal depth of about 10 km.
The disaster risk level of the two earthquakes is at level 0.
Many internet users in Nam Tra My district said they clearly felt the earthquake.
Although the earthquake occurred in Kon Tum province, many people living in Nam Tra My district, Quang Nam province said they felt the tremors. Many people shared information about the earthquakes on Facebook.
Previously, on November 28, a large earthquake measuring 2.7 on the Richter scale also occurred in Kon Plong district.
Also in Kon Plong, on November 27, there were 5 earthquakes; on November 26 alone, there were 12.
