Hanoi CDC overcomes many difficulties, achieves high results in professional work

On the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2025, this afternoon, January 14, the Hanoi City delegation led by Member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee (VFF) of Hanoi City Nguyen Lan Huong visited and presented gifts to the Hanoi Center for Disease Control (CDC Hanoi).

Sending wishes for the New Year of the Snake 2025 to the collective leadership, officers and employees of the Center, wishing them good health, happiness and success, Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the City Nguyen Lan Huong acknowledged that the capital's health sector in general and the Hanoi CDC in particular have overcome many difficulties and challenges in the past time, achieving valuable achievements. Society and people always respect the image of white-shirt soldiers, especially in dangerous moments due to the Covid-19 pandemic as well as in regular epidemic prevention work.

Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hanoi City Nguyen Lan Huong assessed that the officers and staff of CDC Hanoi have overcome many difficulties and challenges, performing their professional work well.

According to Ms. Nguyen Lan Huong, the officers and staff of the Hanoi CDC have done a good job in disease prevention, participating in protecting the health of local people; directing and inspecting disease prevention work at specialized agencies and relevant functional agencies of the city.

Especially in 2024, many typical events of the health sector took place. With the spirit of "solidarity, discipline, setting an example, responsibility and efficiency" of the sector, the City Center for Disease Control has achieved many encouraging results, overcoming many difficulties due to the consequences of the Covid-19 pandemic as well as in terms of facilities and the spirit of the staff.

From there, the Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the City expressed his belief that, under the close direction of the Department of Health and especially the solidarity and great efforts of the collective leadership, officers and employees of the unit, CDC Hanoi will certainly overcome difficulties and challenges to reap even greater achievements in the professional work of disease prevention, protecting people's health as well as in other tasks.

"To catch up and overcome the upcoming difficult mechanism that must be implemented is financial autonomy. I believe that with the experience of many units in the capital's health sector that have achieved results, CDC Hanoi will also overcome this difficult time. With the support of the people, the attention of the city's leaders and the Department of Health, the Center will certainly continue to overcome difficulties and challenges to excellently complete and achieve more results in performing professional tasks" - Ms. Nguyen Lan Huong emphasized.
