Along with terminal T3, the overpass connecting the airport with Tran Quoc Hoan - Cong Hoa road has also been completed and is ready to serve traffic.
Up to now, Terminal T3 of Tan Son Nhat International Airport has reached about 90% progress, ready to be put into operation on April 30, the 50th anniversary of National Reunification. Parallel to Terminal T3, the road connecting Tran Quoc Hoan - Cong Hoa is also under urgent construction, in which, the overpass in front of Terminal T3 is also almost completed, ready to be put into operation.
According to the reporter's records, in recent days, the construction site of items inside and outside the T3 terminal has always been bustling with the sounds of machinery and workers. The overpass is 988m long, starting from the Tran Quoc Hoan - Cong Hoa connecting road, intersecting with 18E road and ending at Hoang Hoa Tham intersection.
The overpass has a separate branch leading to Terminal T3. Once completed and put into operation, vehicles can easily enter and exit the airport. This branch is about 100m long, has a sturdy 1.5m high steel railing, and beautifully curved.
The bridge is 17m wide, with 4 lanes. Currently, important items such as asphalt pavement, road markings, lighting system, guardrails, speed bumps... have been completed. Workers are only working on the remaining small tasks.
In the photo, workers are completing the final stages such as installing drainage barriers, cleaning...

The area under the overpass is quite messy and will be completed by the contractor in the near future.
The Tran Quoc Hoan - Cong Hoa connecting road project is about 4km long, with a total investment of more than 4,800 billion VND , including many items such as branch roads, overpasses and underpasses. The route starts from the Tran Quoc Hoan - Phan Thuc Duyen intersection and extends to the C12 - Cong Hoa - Truong Chinh intersection. Currently, many connecting road items have been opened to traffic in advance for convenient traffic.
The entire site of Package 13 of the project (including construction of roads, retaining walls, sidewalks, drainage, traffic organization at the end of the route and expansion of Truong Chinh Street) has been handed over to the investor. This is the last completed package of the project, expected to open to traffic before April 30.
The Tran Quoc Hoan - Cong Hoa connecting road project, when completed, will help reduce traffic congestion at the gateway to Tan Son Nhat airport, creating more access to terminal T3. In particular, it will improve traffic in Tan Binh district and neighboring areas.
