On the afternoon of March 10, U22 Vietnam had its first training session at the Vietnam Youth Football Training Center. To prepare for the 33rd SEA Games at the end of the year in Thailand, after training in Hanoi, our young players will go to China to participate in the international tournament CFA Team China 2025.
Notable in this training session is the appearance of overseas Vietnamese player Viktor Le.
Viktor Le has a Vietnamese father and a Russian mother. This player grew up at CSKA Moscow training center like Van Lam. This is the first time he has been called up to the Vietnam U22 team.
Sharing about his first time wearing the U22 Vietnam shirt, Viktor Le said: "When I came to Vietnam 2-3 years ago, I cherished the desire to wear the Vietnam national team shirt. So, when my name was on the list of U22 Vietnam this time, I felt very honored and proud. Certainly, I will try my best, concentrate, and maintain daily training. I will accumulate and take advantage of every opportunity I have on the team."
The training session took place in a cheerful atmosphere, the players mainly did stretching exercises and light jogging to relax after a busy time playing at the club. U22 Vietnam also has another overseas Vietnamese player, Nguyen An Khanh, however, this player will not join his teammates until tomorrow.
Dinh Bac, Quoc Viet and Van Truong will still be the names of interest.
In the goalkeeper position, there is also a notable face playing abroad, Ho Tung Han, who is playing in Singapore for the Balestier club.
In this training session, U22 Vietnam will not have the services of Khuat Van Khang, Trung Kien or Van Viet because these players have to perform duties with the national team.
Because coach Kim Sang Sik is preparing with the Vietnamese team for the Asian Cup qualifiers, Mr. Dinh Hong Vinh will be the interim coach during this training session.

U22 Vietnam will practice in Hanoi until March 16, then the whole team will move to China to prepare for the CFA Team China 2025 International Tournament.
