On March 10, Politburo member and Standing member of the Secretariat Tran Cam Tu - Head of the Steering Committee for digital transformation in Party agencies - chaired the second meeting of the Steering Committee (expanded).
At the meeting, Politburo member, Party Central Committee Secretary, Chairman of the Central Inspection Committee, Deputy Head of the Steering Committee Nguyen Duy Ngoc said that digital transformation in Party agencies has 7 groups of tasks and 43 tasks; in March and April, the system must be completed and the process must be completed; by May, it must be completed so that documents from the Central Committee can be transferred to the commune level. In particular, software such as: Party Congress Management, Party Member Handbook... can be read on terminal devices.

Speaking, Standing member of the Secretariat Tran Cam Tu noted more about the viewpoints in the implementation in the coming time. Agreeing on the scope of the Project to be deployed to the Party Committees directly under the Central Committee (including the subordinate Party Committees) and adjusting it synchronously with the plan to merge some provincial-level administrative units, not organizing at the district level, continuing to merge commune-level administrative units according to Conclusion No. 127-KL/TW of the Politburo and the Secretariat.
Urgently complete institutions, regulations and update the unified Digital Transformation Architecture in Party agencies; reduce, simplify procedures and restructure professional work processes in the Party. Mr. Tran Cam Tu requested to deploy common application software in Party agencies to serve leadership, direction and operations in the digital environment, ensuring the principle of taking users as the center; put into use digital applications to serve Party congresses at all levels and implement "Paperless meeting rooms".
Requires great effort
Mr. Tran Cam Tu stated that digital transformation is an important political task, a continuous process, helping to improve the leadership, direction, organization, management, operation, inspection and supervision capacity of the Party, agencies and units, requiring great efforts from the entire system, from each organization, agency, unit, especially the head. In that spirit, it is recommended to strictly implement the direction of General Secretary To Lam: Central Party agencies must be pioneers, exemplary, and take the lead in digital transformation; heads of Party agencies must be exemplary in using electronic devices and application software in leading, directing, operating, and solving Party work.
