Up to now, the project has completed the station roof, the joint venture of contractors is urgently completing the ceilings of the floors, along with electromechanical equipment.
It is expected that by the end of February, the entire electrical and mechanical system, elevators, and escalators of the terminal will be completed. By March, the entire T3 terminal will be put into trial operation for inauguration and use on April 30.

Deputy Minister of Transport Nguyen Anh Tuan said that the progress of the T3 terminal project at Tan Son Nhat International Airport is positive thanks to the Government's strong direction right from the site clearance process to start the project.
The Ministry of Transport has been closely following the project from the very beginning until now; closely coordinating with Ho Chi Minh City in upgrading, expanding and building new roads connecting to Terminal T3.
According to Chairman of Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee Phan Van Mai, 3 directions connecting to T3 terminal have been cleared. More than 20 households are completing procedures to hand over the land.
The city has committed to completing the clearance and completing the connecting routes before February 20. Terminal T3 will be one of 50 key projects of Ho Chi Minh City to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the liberation of the South and national reunification (April 30).
Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh assessed that Terminal T3 is now basically complete. This is the result of the tireless efforts of the Government, ministries, sectors and investor ACV after 16 months of construction. The Prime Minister requested the investor and contractors to make efforts to put the project into operation soon.

The Prime Minister also thanked the families who handed over their residences and business premises so that the State could implement the roads connecting key projects.
"ACV needs to make an effort to review the overall progress of completed items, complete acceptance procedures, and ensure that the project will be put into trial operation in March. In addition, the work of payment, settlement, fire prevention and fighting, construction landscape, and environmental sanitation issues need to be focused on so that the project meets the criteria of bright - green - clean - beautiful," the Prime Minister requested.
