Kinhtedothi - According to the Plan of the Urban Committee of the Hanoi People's Council, it is expected that in March and April 2025, the Urban Committee will supervise the renovation, upgrading, and construction of replacement of weak bridges and temporary bridges in the city.
Specifically, the Urban Committee of the Hanoi People's Council will supervise the Departments of Construction, Finance, Agriculture and Environment, Culture and Sports, Planning and Architecture; the Management Boards of Investment Projects for Construction of Traffic Works in Hanoi; the Maintenance Board of Traffic Infrastructure Works under the Department of Construction; investors of temporary and weak bridge construction projects in the city (according to the proposal of specialized departments or suddenly when necessary).
The monitoring is conducted to assess the current management status and investment situation of bridge works (weak bridges, temporary bridges) associated with roads and traffic infrastructure works in the city; clarify the results achieved, difficulties and obstacles in the implementation process; determine the causes and responsibilities of relevant agencies and units.
Thereby, promptly detecting errors and violations and proposing solutions and recommendations to competent authorities on issues that need attention in order to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of State management in organizing renovation, upgrading, and construction of replacement of weak bridges and temporary bridges in the city.
Time range from January 1, 2021 to February 28, 2025. The supervision will be conducted in the form of supervision through reports of the supervised subjects. Based on the study of the reports of the supervised subjects, the Supervision Team will carry out supervision and work directly at a number of agencies, units and bridge construction sites as proposed by specialized departments or ad hoc when necessary; coordinate with investors and related units if necessary.
Organize working sessions with relevant agencies and units on the management and organization of renovation, upgrading, and construction of weak bridges and temporary bridges in the city; receive voters' recommendations and reflect people's concerns through information channels (if any).
The monitoring team will focus on monitoring a number of contents such as: management work in organizing renovation, upgrading, and construction of replacement of weak bridges and temporary bridges in the city; ensuring labor safety, traffic safety, and environmental sanitation during the construction, renovation, repair, replacement, and periodic maintenance of weak bridges and temporary bridges; ensuring construction progress and quality of bridge works after completion...
Direct supervision is expected to take place in March and April 2025.
