The Tran Quoc Hoan - Cong Hoa connecting road project (Tan Binh district, Ho Chi Minh City) is a key traffic project connecting with Terminal T3 - Tan Son Nhat International Airport.

The project has a total investment of more than 4,800 billion VND, is about 4 km long, and includes the construction of branch roads, overpasses and tunnels. In the photo is the overpass (overpass) in front of the T3 terminal area.

The overpass (elevated overpass) is nearly 1km long, starting from the Tran Quoc Hoan - Cong Hoa connecting road, intersecting with Highway 18E and ending at Hoang Hoa Tham intersection.

The overpass is 17m wide and is designed with 4 lanes (2 lanes in each direction).

Currently, the overpass project has been completed, items such as asphalt carpet, guide lines, lighting, and railings have all been completed and are ready to open to traffic next April.

Up to now, the 1.25 km long connecting road (from Phan Thuc Duyen underpass to Hoang Hoa Tham street) has been completed and put into operation.

According to the HCMC Department of Transport (investor), the 4-lane overpass in front of T3 terminal has been completed.

Currently, the remaining part of the route connecting Tran Quoc Hoan - Cong Hoa (from Hoang Hoa Tham Street to Truong Chinh Street) is under urgent construction.

The total progress of the Tran Quoc Hoan - Cong Hoa connecting road project is currently about 95%. Currently, the units are urgently completing package No. 13 (including construction of roads, retaining walls, sidewalks, drainage, traffic organization at the end of the route and expansion of Truong Chinh Street).

The investor said that the total progress of package 13 is about 80%. After Tan Binh district handed over the entire site at the end of February, the project is continuing to complete the remaining items.

“It is expected that the entire route connecting Tran Quoc Hoan - Cong Hoa will be put into operation in April. It will be synchronized with the opening of Terminal T3 - Tan Son Nhat International Airport on April 30 this year,” said a representative of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Transport.
