On December 30, news from the Department of Finance of Ca Mau province said that as of December 29, the province's budget revenue reached over VND 5,710 billion, reaching 118%, exceeding VND 876 billion compared to the estimate assigned by the Provincial People's Council.
Of which, domestic revenue was 5,541 billion VND, reaching 117%, exceeding 820 billion VND; revenue from import and export activities was 169 billion VND, reaching 150%, exceeding 56 billion VND compared to the estimate.
Ca Mau's budget revenue in 2023 reached over 5,710 billion VND, exceeding 876 billion VND
Regarding the total budget expenditure of Ca Mau province, it is 11,259 billion VND, reaching 96% of the estimate; of which development investment expenditure is 2,291 billion VND, reaching 87% of the plan, equal to 121% over the same period; regular expenditure is 7,540 billion VND, reaching 104% of the estimate; expenditure from program capital, target is 1,424 billion VND, reaching 84% of the estimate. Currently, Ca Mau province still has some expenditure items allowed to extend until the end of January 2024. Estimated expenditure by January 31, 2024 is 11,653 billion VND, reaching 99.13% of the estimate.
In 2024, the Provincial People's Council resolved to approve a total state budget revenue of VND 5,336 billion. Of which, domestic revenue is VND 5,230 billion and revenue from import-export activities is VND 106 billion. Total local budget expenditure is VND 12,580 billion.
According to 2023 data, Ca Mau province's socio-economic situation has achieved many positive results. Specifically, economic growth is estimated at VND 45,471 billion, up 7.83% compared to 2022; total retail sales of goods and consumer service revenue is estimated at VND 8,207 billion, exceeding the plan by 10%; industrial index is estimated to increase by 6.5% over the same period; total social investment capital is VND 24,000 billion, reaching the plan, up 8.9% over the same period...
