BPO - On August 12, the Investigation Police Department, Binh Phuoc Provincial Police are coordinating with Chon Thanh Town Police and other functional forces to investigate and clarify the case of death of unknown cause that just occurred in Quarter 2, Minh Hung Ward, Chon Thanh Town, Binh Phuoc Province.
According to initial information, at around 10:10 a.m. the same day, Mr. Lu Van Phong (born in 1987, temporarily residing at My Nhung motel, quarter 2, Minh Hung ward, Chon Thanh town) went to the police station to report a death of unknown cause that occurred in a motel room. The victim was Mr. Cheo San Khai (born in 1986, residing in village 3B, Phu Lung commune, Yen Minh district, Ha Giang province).
Mr. Phong added that the victim, his wife, Cheo Thi Che (born in 1986), and their two children, Cheo A Phong (born in 2002) and Cheo Thi May (born in 2008), rented a room in the same boarding house with him. They were working as workers at Hight Light Smart Home Company in Minh Hung III Industrial Park, Minh Hung Ward, Chon Thanh Town.

At around 6am this morning, Ms. Che and her two children went to work, while Mr. Khai was still sleeping in the room. When she left, Ms. Che closed the door and went to Mr. Phong's room and said: "Stay home and look after your second brother, he is not normal, he is showing signs of mental illness again." After that, Ms. Che and her two children went to work.
Mr. Phong continued to sleep until 7 o'clock before waking up. At 8 o'clock, when he passed by Mr. Khai's room, he saw the door slightly open. Looking into the room, he saw Mr. Khai wearing black shorts, lying face down in a pool of blood, with a bloody knife next to him. Seeing this, Mr. Phong was so scared that he rode his motorbike to Hight Light Smart Home Company to inform Ms. Che. After that, Mr. Phong went to Minh Hung ward police station to report the incident.
Upon receiving the report, the police quickly arrived to protect the scene and coordinated with other forces to conduct investigation and clarification measures.
