(NLDO) - Due to delays in processing administrative procedures, many departments and branches in Quang Binh have been named and required to be seriously reviewed.
People come to do procedures at the Quang Binh Provincial Public Administration Center
On March 13, the People's Committee of Quang Binh province announced that it had issued a document to rectify the delay in processing administrative procedure (TTHC) records in February 2025, based on integrated data from the National Public Service Portal (DVC).
Implementing the Prime Minister's direction on strengthening discipline and administrative order in receiving, handling administrative procedures and providing public services, the People's Committee of Quang Binh province has repeatedly requested departments, branches and localities to seriously implement. However, according to the February 2025 report and data extracted from the National Public Service Portal, many fields still have overdue records exceeding 5%, affecting the province's assessment index.
Notably, the construction sector of the Department of Construction has an overdue file rate of up to 28.17%, while the Natural Resources and Environment sector of the Department of Agriculture and Environment also recorded a figure of 23.7%. These are very high rates, reflecting alarming delays in the settlement of administrative procedures.
Faced with this situation, the People's Committee of Quang Binh province has requested the Departments of Construction, Agriculture and Environment, Finance, Home Affairs, Health, Industry and Trade and related localities to seriously learn from experience, review responsibilities and report on the causes of delays.
At the same time, these units must urgently direct the complete handling of backlogged and overdue records on the provincial Administrative Procedures Information System and the National Public Service Portal. The processing results must be reported to the Provincial People's Committee before March 25.
Particularly for cases of backlog due to software errors or data synchronization errors, the People's Committee of Quang Binh province requires relevant units to compile a list, determine the cause and coordinate with the Department of Science and Technology to thoroughly resolve the issue.
In addition, the Department of Science and Technology is responsible for guiding and supporting departments, branches and localities in handling technical errors to ensure the system operates smoothly.
The Quang Binh Provincial People's Committee also assigned the Provincial People's Committee Office to urge, inspect and evaluate the implementation results of departments, branches, sectors and district-level People's Committees on the Task Tracking System. Relevant units must seriously implement the direction, avoid continuing delays, affecting the effectiveness of administrative management and the satisfaction of people and businesses.
