On March 14, the People's Committee of Dong Xoai City (Binh Phuoc) coordinated with Samsung Vietnam and Korea Food for the Hungry International to start construction of the Samsung Hope School in Tan Thanh Commune (Dong Xoai City).
Mr. Choi Joo Ho, General Director of Samsung Vietnam Complex, hopes that the school will help students have a solid foundation to nurture their dreams.
According to Samsung Vietnam, this is the 5th school in Vietnam (after Bac Ninh, Thai Nguyen, Bac Giang and Lang Son), and is also the first Samsung Hope School in the southern region. Up to now, there have been more than 5,000 students studying and developing at the Samsung Hope School system nationwide.

Mr. Choi Joo Ho, General Director of Samsung Vietnam Complex, shared: "I hope the school in Binh Phuoc will become a place to provide students with quality extracurricular classes, helping them have a solid foundation to nurture their dreams."
Awarding scholarships to students in difficult circumstances
After being completed in 2024, the school will be the place to implement a child development program for about 300 disadvantaged students from primary to secondary school in Binh Phuoc with contents such as information technology, programming, career experience, foreign languages (English, Korean), music, fine arts, physical education and many other useful activities.
The school will help hundreds of students in difficult circumstances have better learning opportunities.
Mr. Nguyen Minh Binh, Chairman of Dong Xoai City People's Committee, commented: "The project will contribute to creating living and learning conditions for students in difficult circumstances and poor students in the area, helping children develop comprehensively in terms of physical strength as well as life skills, spreading knowledge, vision and creating a future for the younger generation. Thereby contributing to the development of education in Dong Xoai City".
