Speaking at the meeting, Dr. Nguyen Thanh Dung, Vice President of Cuu Long University (CUU), wished all lecturers, specialists, Khmer ethnic students, Cambodian and Lao students a happy and peaceful Tet.

The University of Civil Engineering currently has nearly 200 lecturers, specialists, and students who are Khmer, Cambodian, and Laotian students working and studying. With the tradition of mutual love and support and the desire to bring overseas students living far from home a warm Tet atmosphere in Vietnam, every year, the University of Civil Engineering organizes a New Year celebration for them.
The school organizes fun activities, supports international students with meals during the 3 days of Tet... Thereby, helping international students to feel less homesick, feel happy and warm during Tet holidays away from home and family. The school hopes that international students will always try to overcome all difficulties, constantly strive to study and practice to become good citizens, contributing to serving their homeland and country.
On this occasion, the University of Civil Engineering organized lucky money gifts for nearly 200 lecturers, specialists, and students of Khmer ethnicity, Cambodian and Laotian students with the best wishes on the occasion of the traditional New Year of the nation.
The Vietnam - Laos Friendship Association of Vinh Long province and the Vinh Long Provincial Youth Union also presented Tet gifts to overseas students.

"This is the fourth year I have celebrated Tet in a joyful, united, and friendly atmosphere among ethnic groups at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities. Although we are far from home and cannot enjoy the traditional Tet atmosphere with our families and relatives, all of us international students are very happy to have received the care and support from the school, the Vietnam - Laos Friendship Association, and other organizations.
We always consider Vietnam as our second homeland, and CLV University is the family of the international student community. We promise to constantly strive to study and practice better to become more worthy of the trust of our teachers, seniors and friends; contributing to further nurturing the Vietnam - Laos friendship to new heights" - student Boualapha Phommahaxay expressed.
