On the afternoon of March 19, at the University of Education - Hue University, the Institute of Blockchain Technology and Artificial Intelligence (AI) ABAII in collaboration with the Vietnam Blockchain Association (VBA) organized the ABAII Unitour program with 26 topics to exploit the potential of blockchain and AI in education, aiming to improve digital skills and promote creativity for the young generation.

At the program, Dr. Vo Cong Khoi, Chief of Office of Vietnam Blockchain Association in Da Nang, analyzed in depth the applications of AI in education and related ethical issues.
Mr. Khoi said that according to research by the World Economic Forum (WEF), by 2030, about 85% of jobs will require digital skills that are not currently widely taught. This poses an urgent need for educational institutions to update their training programs to keep up with technological developments.
Notably, Dr. Vo Cong Khoi emphasized that AI will create attractive job opportunities in the future. In Vietnam, AI and machine learning engineers are currently the highest paid positions in the IT industry, up to 10 billion VND/year for senior engineers.
AI engineer is also an emerging and attractive profession, sought after by startups and large corporations around the world.

Mr. Khoi cited that in many European countries, AI engineers have salaries of up to 200,000 USD/year, 2-3 times higher than software engineers. Even good AI engineers will have a "huge" income, from 500,000 - 800,000 USD/year.
From a business perspective, Mr. Thomas Hoang, Operations Director of TingFoundation, also shared that AI is opening up great opportunities in developing internal training platforms at businesses, especially in improving technology skills for human resources.
According to Mr. Thomas Hoang, technology businesses are in need of personnel who can quickly adapt to new technologies. If AI and blockchain are systematically integrated into education, students will not only access knowledge but also be trained according to the needs of the labor market, thereby shortening the integration time when joining the business.
Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Thanh Hung, Vice Rector of Hue University of Education, emphasized that integrating new technologies into training is an inevitable trend, especially when AI and blockchain are increasingly present in many industries. Hue University of Education will continue to expand cooperation with technology organizations, but still needs to be "cautious and have a clear roadmap" in applying them to the curriculum.
