(NLDO) – Published information shows that Ms. Nguyen Thuy Tien does not hold any position nor has any relationship with individuals or organizations related to Vietravel.

Vietnam Tourism and Transport Marketing Company (Vietravel, stock code VTR) has just reported the results of stock transactions of major shareholders.

Accordingly, an individual investor named Nguyen Thuy Tien suddenly became a major shareholder of Vietravel when she bought 6 million VTR shares. The trading price of VTR at the close of the session on March 19 was VND22,500/share. Thus, Ms. Thuy Tien spent about VND135 billion to become a major shareholder, holding 20.94% of the company's charter capital.

The published information shows that Ms. Thuy Tien does not hold any position at the company and has no relationship with individuals or organizations related to Vietravel.

On the same day, Hung Thinh Corporation also announced that it is no longer a major shareholder of Vietravel after transferring 6 million shares (20.94%) on March 13.

After the transaction, Hung Thinh Corporation reduced its ownership ratio to 0%, meaning it withdrew all investment capital from Vietravel .

According to Vietravel's information announcement, Mr. Nguyen Quoc Ky, Chairman of Vietravel's Board of Directors , is holding more than 3.2 million shares with a ratio of 10.96% and Vietravel Group Joint Stock Company holds more than 4.17 million shares with a ratio of 14.29%.

Thus, with Ms. Thuy Tien buying 6 million shares at a rate of 20.94%, this individual investor is now a major shareholder, holding the largest number of shares in this tourism company.

Regarding business activities, Vietravel and Sun World have just signed a strategic cooperation memorandum, marking an important step of cooperation, joining hands to promote Vietnam tourism and bring customers many unique products with attractive incentives.

According to the cooperation agreement, Vietravel is officially a strategic partner of Sun World in the domestic and international markets.
