According to the enrollment plan just announced by Hanoi Pedagogical University 2, this year the school will enroll 4,131 students for 26 training majors, more than double the total enrollment compared to last year.
Last year, the school recruited 1,959 students for 26 training majors, with 1,782 students enrolled after being admitted.
This year, the school uses 10 admission methods, including considering high school graduation exam results (PT100); considering high school graduation exam scores combined with aptitude test scores (PT405); considering admission based on independent exam results of Hanoi Pedagogical University 2 (PT401); considering admission using independent exam results of Hanoi Pedagogical University 2 combined with aptitude test scores (PT401-NK).
Considering academic records (PT200); considering academic records combined with aptitude test scores (PT406); considering admission using the results of the competency assessment exam of Hanoi National University of Education, Hanoi National University; Ho Chi Minh City National University, Ho Chi Minh City University of Education (PT402); considering admission using the results of the competency assessment exam combined with aptitude test scores (PT402-NK).
In addition, the school also considers direct admission and priority admission (PT301); considers transferring students who have completed the university preparatory program, considers admission by appointment, and considers international students under agreements or outside agreements (PT301-DB).
With the method of considering academic records, to register for admission to the teacher training group (except for physical education), candidates must have an average score of at least 8.0 for the subjects in the registered admission group; good/excellent academic performance in grade 12 or a high school graduation score of 8.0 or higher.
The school converts international language certificate scores to a 10-point scale as follows:
2025 is the first year that Hanoi Pedagogical University 2 organizes an independent entrance exam for full-time university admission with 8 subjects, including math, literature, biology, English, history, geography, physics, and chemistry.
The school plans to hold an independent exam on June 1st, at the school and some high schools in Vinh Phuc province. Candidates can register from April 1st to May 4th.
This year, the school's tuition fee is expected to range from 15.9 to 18.5 million VND/year, an increase of 1.8 to 2.1 million VND/year compared to last year. For students majoring in education, the State exempts tuition fees and living expenses of about 3.6 million VND/month.
Last year, the admission score to Hanoi Pedagogical University 2 based on high school graduation exam scores ranged from 20 to 28.83 points, with the two majors of history pedagogy and literature pedagogy both taking 28.83 points.
The four majors of primary education, civic education, national defense and security education, and English pedagogy have admission thresholds above 27. Physical education has the lowest admission score of 20 points.
