The University of Social Sciences and Humanities (Vietnam National University, Hanoi) has just announced its plan for the 10th grade entrance exam for the 2025-2026 academic year at its specialized high school. Accordingly, this year's exam will be held on May 24-25, 2025.

Eligible candidates are students graduating from junior high school in 2025 nationwide, provided they have achieved a GPA of "Good" or higher for all junior high school grades and a junior high school graduation ranking of "Good" or higher.

In 2025, the school will not offer direct admission or bonus points for priority admission. In previous years, candidates only took the specialized subject exam; this year, due to regulations changes, the Ministry of Education and Training requires specialized high schools to organize exams in three subjects: Mathematics, Literature, and one subject from among the subjects students study alongside their specialized subject.

To participate in the exam, candidates must complete all four tests, including three common subjects: Literature (essay - 120 minutes), Mathematics (multiple choice - 60 minutes), and English (multiple choice - 90 minutes), and one specialized subject from the following: Literature, History, or Geography (essay - 150 minutes).

Candidates register for the exam online from April 14th to May 6th, 2025. The exams are graded on a 10-point scale. Eligible candidates must take all three general subject exams and the specialized subject exam, and must not have been disqualified; furthermore, the score for each general subject exam must be 4.0 or higher, and the score for the specialized subject exam must be 6.0 or higher.

The exam results will be announced on the school's website before June 20, 2025.

In 2024, the school's total enrollment quota was 140, including 70 for the Literature specialization, 35 for the Geography specialization, and 35 for the History specialization. Last year's cutoff scores were 8.0 for the Literature specialization, 7.5 for the History specialization, and 7.0 for the Geography specialization.
