This is the second video creation contest with the theme “I and China” for international students and students from Southeast Asian countries organized by the Ministry of Education of China (Center for Foreign Language Exchange and Cooperation), ASEAN-China Center in collaboration with several universities in Beijing, Hebei Province and Tianjin City, China.
The award ceremony of the competition took place on March 19 at Tianjin Normal University, with the participation of Secretary General of ASEAN-China Center Shi Zhongjun, Secretary General of China Association for International Education Exchange Yang Jun, Mr. Hoang Mai Dien, First Secretary in charge of education of the Embassy of Vietnam in China and representatives of ASEAN embassies in China; leaders of Tianjin City Department of Education, universities with international students participating in the competition.

The second video contest with the theme “I and China” for international students and students from Southeast Asian countries was launched for 8 months and received nearly 500 videos from students from 170 universities in Southeast Asia and international students from Southeast Asian countries studying in Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei, China.
At this year's contest, Vietnamese students and overseas students in China participated in large numbers with 102 videos, winning a total of 20 awards, including 5 first prizes, 1 second prize, and many third prizes and consolation prizes.
In addition, Dang Thi Thao Tien, a student at Ho Chi Minh City University of Education, through her video composition, was officially accepted into Tianjin University of Education for a master's degree and awarded a scholarship.

The host of this competition's award ceremony is Tianjin Normal University, one of China's prestigious universities of education, with a large number of Vietnamese students studying abroad (a total of 129 students). Tianjin Normal University wishes to continue promoting cooperation with Vietnamese educational institutions.
